Climbing Teide during the day to reach the summit in time for the sunset is an unforgettable experience, where the magic of the changing sky, the silence of the National Park, and the imposing shadow of the volcano at dusk come together in a unique spectacle.
It is a demanding challenge: the elevation gain is significant, the terrain is technical, and the altitude is noticeable. On top of that, the effort is intensified by the long hours of hiking in the sun. It takes between 5 and 6 hours of continuous ascent. But when you reach the summit and watch the sun set… it all makes sense.
